Update Caller ID Name & Number for a User

Scope

Intended Audience: All End Users

This article outlines how to update the Caller ID number for a user. Caller ID Name (CNAM) is controlled by the receiving carrier. To set CNAM contact the Telco Services department.

Requirements

Office Manager Access to Manager Portal or higher

Notice


  1. Log in to the Manager Portal
  2. Navigate to Users
  3. Select the user to modify
  4. Scroll down to the Caller ID Information section
    Note: The Caller ID dropdown only contains the numbers that are found in the Inventory Tab
    1. Update the Caller ID Name (this is the alphanumeric name that may be displayed to recipients)
    2. Select a new Caller ID Number from the dropdown
  5. Click Save
