Polycom Obi Edition: Provisioning

Scope:

The following document will guide you on manually provisioning a Polycom D230 Cordless Phone as an example.

Requirements:

• Polycom D230
• IP Address of Polycom D230
• Access to Manager Portal

Register Handset to Base

1. Once the Handset is botted up, press the OK button > Scroll down to Settings > Press Registration.
   
2. Hold the Find button on the Base for about 5 seconds and the Handset will pair up with the Base.

Access the IP Adress of the Polycom D230

1. On the Cordless Phone, Press the OK button > Scroll down to Settings > Press Basestation Info
2. This is where you will grab the IP Address
3. Enter IP Address onto the WEB
4. Username: admin
5. Password: admin

Add Phone to the Manage Portal

Manually Provisioning via Web Gui

1. Enter the Device’s IP address on a Browser.
2. Log in using the following credentials.
   1. Username: admin
   2. Password: admin
3. Then go to System Management > Auto Provisioning > ITSP Provisioning > ConfigURL.

4. Scroll down to the very bottom of the page and click Submit.
5. Then on the upper right, click Reboot.
